What is a SUP?

SUP stands for Stand Up Paddleboard. They are an updated version of a traditional Hawaiian water activity that is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world at the moment. Boards range in length with shorter boards being used for surfing and longer boards used for long distance paddling.

They are a great way of maintaining fitness requiring constant rebalancing and using all of the muscle groups in the body. It works the ‘core’ and definitely adds strength. It is also pretty easy to get your head around and will only take a few minutes of instruction before you are off and independent.
